Accuracy and useful uncertainty
Nortune aims to state what is known, identify what is inferred, and make uncertainty visible. Numerical claims, legal rules, product terms, economic releases, and time-sensitive facts should be checked against appropriate primary or authoritative sources. When reliable sources disagree, the disagreement should be described rather than silently resolved.
Sources and evidence
Guides should link to the documents, datasets, rules, or product information that carry the conclusion. News stories identify their source links. Charts and tables should state the underlying source, date range, unit, and material transformation.
Publication and update dates
Migrated material keeps its original publication date. An import or redesign does not reset that date. An updated date is used only after a substantive change. Corrections, source replacements, changed rules, and rewritten conclusions should be documented rather than hidden behind a fresh timestamp.
Authorship
Published pages use the brand-wide byline Nortune Citizen. The byline represents the editorial process rather than an invented individual. Source authors from migrated material may be retained in private provenance fields to preserve history.
Commercial recommendations
Affiliate compensation does not convert a product into a recommendation. Commercial material should explain who a product may fit, why it is mentioned, major limitations, relevant costs, and meaningful alternatives. Affiliate links are marked and routed through a controlled redirect system.
